Now that the YJ is running like she should, I drove her 38 miles today. According to the guy that followed me home, the speedometer is right on the money. Only thing I didn't like was the steering is too easy. Anyway to get the steering to be harder?

You can always take the power steering belt off.

I don't think Mama will go for that, it's her Wrangler.

see if you can figure out a way to slow the power steering pump down some...Like getting a larger pulley for the pump or a smaller crank pulley. That might reduce the pressure some, making it a little harder to turn.
Or install a shorter length Pitman arm? That way the leverage is decreased and you would have to turn the wheel more to turn, reducing the "feel" at the wheel?
What about over-tightening all the front end parts until its hard to turn? that one might not work out in the end...

I'm going to adjust to the feel. Had the front end checked, everything is ok. I'll have to deal with certain body parts puckering & carry a change of, well you know!

Bigger tires, more resistance at the ground:D

You could always put a flow control valve in the hose to slow the flow of fluid. Less flow = less speed. Dont know if you can do it right off a pump with out a return line I would have to look into it.
