YJ Springs

YJ Springs
I know you meant that as a joke but, for anyone else reading... We never intend that... :) :chug:
LOL, Ya I know CJ... This is a great site!:chug:

That's the real issue. Spring lengths are are different too. Could make things interesting j
Right. The 2" front springs are now at the rear...where the 2½" spring are supposed to be :(
agreed....spring length would make things interesting

yes...but a 2" springpack doesnt belong in the rear either. There is a lot of room between the eyes and the hangers.

I can tell by looking at that Frankenstein'd settup there is no bushing to buffer impact....there's space between the hanger and eye, a LOT of space. That rear axle could actually move back and forth on that set up.

The front hangers take up that space with a sleave and a larger...much larger...bushing

Edit: THIS is a problem. And a potential breakdown ready to happen.

Oh ya, it's totally screwed up... I really wish I'd seen it sooner. I just kept looking at those front shakles that were cut so the wider springs would fit yesterday, and it really struck home when I took a closer look at the rear and seen these huge gaps... I think I'll be fixing it before I drive it, you're right that they will be moving around back there, and that's no good at all..
