Scrambler Project, cosmetically taking it back to the 80's- 1984 Scrambler, Laredo. 258cc, Holley Sniper EFI, 30in tires on Laredo polished wheels, Dana 44 rear, OME 2.5 YJ springs/lift, HMMWV steering box

Previously owned cj 7, 1979, Renegade, 258 and a '89 wrangler
Finding a CJ tub in good condition is like finding a Unicorn.... after some research an option looks like a YJ tub, specifically after 95 the steel is galvanized.

Does anyone have any information on the switch? Does anyone have any good leads on finding a good tub and shipping?

We did the YJ swap. I took the time to change the tailgate to a drop down instead leaving it as a swing. The only thing I left YJ was the windshield squirters. Maybe my build thread might be a help, you can always pm me with questions.
