Had a pond, drained it and use it as an RC Rock Crawler course, now.
Keeping the trash out and trying to maintain a healthy pond was just
to much work. I was out there every freaking day. Now it's a relaxing
yard fixture that doesn't drive me crazy.

cool! mine is plastic formed so it's not too much maintence and I went with overkill on the filter it about 1000 gallons more than what I needed but a rc course is also fun!

Lucky for me, mines been easy to maintain. I give it a cup of liquid bacteria once a week, and a shot of barley extract twice a month, and It's nice and clear. I'll toss a shade cloth over it when the leaves fall to keep them out.

The one I was messing with had a plastic sheet type liner not one of those prefab plastic deals. I drained it and pulled the liner and tossed a couple extra rocks in.

I had a pond once, in a pasture back in Louisiana, Around 5 acres, was stocked with bass, blue gill catfish and crappie, Lots of fun. But the guy who ownws the farm passed and his son did not let me jump the fence and fish in it anymore,,
