Nothing yet, but not for long!
Are there any young members on here, or am I the only one? Im 14 and I was wondering if there was anyone around my age.

Havent been your age in a long, long time countryboy, but I can remember at your age loading up the jeep and going quail hunting behind my home town. I would drive up the alley about a block and a half and I had hundreds of miles to explore. Cops did not mind a bit as long as you went slow in town. That was the way of life for us back then, only had 3 T.V. stations, cable was not around and dish was not thought of. Computers were in the making and girls were not on our minds. Jeeps and shotguns, jumping in and trying to figure out how things worked, collecting returnable bottles for gas money (58 cents a gallon) pretty simple and had the time of my life!

I wish it was like that today, not very many people appreciate the outdoors anymore. With all this new technology people just can't enjoy what is really important. I try to keep myself away from all this new stuff like video events and computers....well I guess im on a computer right now, but other than that I try to spend as much of my time doing things outdoors and discovering new things.

In my mind I am 14 but unfortunately I am 43. Don't worry we all kids at heart. Couldn't own a CJ and not be a kid at heart.

I'm 52 but the girls at work frequently ask if I'm 14.
I'd like to think it's because I look so young but they assure me that's not what they're refering to.

I spied my CJ when I was 14 (maybe 15 - not sure), I knew I had to have it. That was 30+ years ago... I'm 14 every time I look at a CJ.

You have some really good years ahead of you. Enjoy them and please be careful. I was 14 forty years ago. Listen to your elders, it may seem crazy but wedo know whats best.

I am currently 18, just a few years ahead of you, and i could not agree with you more on the fact that people are losing touch with the outdoors. all my friends give me :dung: all day long for spending so much money on "such an old, out-dated vehice" and it almost drives me crazy. I love jeeps, I am personally on my second cj, while my dad has a tj and mom is looking for a 4-door rubicon. Guess you could just call us a jeep-loving family

Don't worry about what your freinds say they are the one losing touch with what matters in life. On the weekends when you are out having fun and they are sitting at home in front of a tv you will have the things to share with your kids and they will be just boring dumb :censored:.

Im 16 and i have 3 Jeeps, almost 4 to myself at this point:chug: i was bitten by the Jeep Bug

It's alot better then drugs. Happy trails :jeeplove:

I've never done a single drug in my life, but why do them, they waste away your money, I need money to Save more old Jeeps!

:notworthy: you are a fine young man. I hope your Mom and Dad are proud.

You're not that much older than me, and I agree why do drugs. They will ruin your life and it will give you more money to buy jeeps. Glad to see there are are younger members on here.

I would almost say that a jeep addiction is worse than drug addictions in the amounts of time consumed and money spent haha

Yea but lots more fun and you don't go to jail or a rehab center.

I think your right but at least you have something to show for it.
IMO the adrenalin rush you can get from your jeep is the best drug.

I was 14 yesterday when a pretty young lady smiled and waved at me and my Jeep. Today I mowed and edged, and was back to 71. Maybe tomorrow I can be 14 again. Aaah, enjoy it now.
