This past spring I installed a (little over) 1" body lift on my CJ in preparation for clocking my Dana 300 and installing a flat skid......you gotta lift the body to get a T-18 flat :D

It's the ugliest thing I see when I look at my CJ now
I guess what makes it worse is the full boat-side sliders that expose the body mounts so well. Sticks out like a sore thumb.

Anyway, just thought I would share my disgust. Carry on with your Friday! :chug:

Do we get to see pictures of this abomination??:D

That's to bad, I have a 1" bl on mine years ago and it seems to be just fine. I could clock my Transfer Case , but the diff pumkins get a lot more beat up than the skid plate so I didn't bother. I did remove the lower hump on the skid plate though.

I understand the axle pumpkin issue for sure...
And after so many years of bashing the stock crossmember, having to remove it, reshape it, reinstall it....I decided I would eliminate (or minimize) that issue.

I think the only reason this thing is cosmetically fugly is because of the lack of rocker panel exposing her undergarments :o
