Zipper lube

What household item is good the use on a soft top zipper to help it work easier? Mine is getting stuck at times in places. Any help would be appreciated.

I think Old Dog just posted a bit ago to use bar soap.

most jeep dealers actually carry a little bottle/brush of zipper lube...i know we carry it.

Yep, that's what I use. It doesn't attract dirt and dust as a liquid lube would do. Any bar hand soap should work, I use Ivory just cause that whats in the house.

Cause it keeps his hands silky smooth.

You might try Sailkote. It is a siliconish spray I used when living on my sailboat. The stuff was like magic for my zippers and sail tracks. does not leave any residue for dirt to collect to.

Candle wax will hold up better than soap in the elements.

Whatever you do, don't use things that will attract dust i.e. plain old silicone spray.

busa that is the same thing you get at the dealerships by mopar..probably the best top stuff relabeled
