1965 CJ5-A Tuxedo Park mark IV

I just picked up this jeep (yesterday) and it was running great. The past owner had replaced the fuel pump at some time recently. However this afternoon after starting it up it would idle and then when i went to drive down the road, after just a few minutes, it would just die. I would get it started again and it would run for a few minutes and when I would accelerate it would die again. Does any one have any ideas?

First thought is the fuel filter, second is maybe the recent pump replacement is bad, and third is air leak in the fuel line before the pump.

Same as above ^^^^ with the addition of trash in the carb and tank
