1974 cj5 axels

My stock 232ci 1974 CJ5 has what front and rear axels and i need some parts?

Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong, but it should be a Dana 44 on the rear and a Dana 30 on the front, same as my 75.

Should have a Dana 30 front and a Dana 44 rear. You can usually pick up normal wear parts at almost any auto part store. Other items may need to be picked up at a specialist site or ordered.

so my 33year old sons buddy said it had a Dana 20 front and a Dana 30 rear i guess he is fos.

Its pretty apparent that your son's buddy doesn't know what he is talking about, since there is no such thing as a Dana 20 front axle (Dana 20 Transfer Case , yes) and a Dana 30 is a FRONT axle, not a rear axle...
