Looks like you need to swap the crossmember out for the same one that’s in the CJs it’s a solid round bar that has a hump in it to clear the front axle

I see what you're saying , the bar is definately low profile, I suppose I could trim some for clearance , then plate for strength

One problem that I may have is the way that this inline 6 is jammed in this little jeep , it's got a steep angle , my drive line is dam near straight,

I’m not quite following you on that, are you saying that the axle is way up in the frame and the rear driveshaft is parallel to the ground ? Or that the Transmission and Transfer Case are tilted down to clear the floorboard?

We'll basically my motor/Transmission /driveline have a steep angle to accomadate the 727 and inline 6 in such a little spot, because of this setup ,my crossmember sits low. the top of the motor is almost hitting the body , little room to work with here

Wow I didn’t realize that there is that much difference between the bodies of postals and CJs

Yeah , the postals wheel base is a little shorter if I'm correct, my next problem to tackle will be a Transfer Case /adapter , that dosnt seem to be so easy to find . I need the 727 to go to a Dana 300 ,

Ok I just looked that up , looks to be what I'm looking for , so I have a 2 wheel drive 727, is it just that tail housing that needs to be swapped? Or is it the main shaft also?

Can't find the tail housing you have there , that is for the Dana 300 / 727 ? What truck would this come from? Are you willing to sell yours

I would sell mine, you do not need one for a Dana 300 specifically any of the 80s Dodge transmissions will work . Dodge used the NP 208 Transfer Case with a 23 spline and that same round bolt pattern, that’s what my tailhousing is from. Parts for the 727 or 904 aren’t interchangeable between the two
