By the way what exactly is Kroil and PB Blaster?

If all else fails do you think drilling a new set of holes would work? would the new screws be able to dig and latch onto the metal without any threads? (sorry I'm a newb when it comes to this stuff)

Kroil I have never used but PB Blaster is a De-Greaser / Lubricant. Awesome stuff, we use it in the oilfields when we have to rebuild our pumps.
