1975 stock rim size??

My 1975 CJ5 has on it 15x7 white spoked wheels. Would these have been an accessary in 1975 on any Jeep?




I don't care much for them for I prefer the plain steel 4-slot wheel.

The local Jeep dealer looked up my application and told me there were

3 choices.




part# j5358808 15x5.5

part# j5353049 PNC(part changes to) j5356164 15x6

part# j640800 16x4.5 (fleet/military)




What is correct for my Jeep?

I think the wagon wheels were used to provide clearance for disc brake calipers. With drums I think the old style steelies where stock.

Kelsey Hayes steel 15x6 were standard equipment, an optional 15x8 KH and 15x7 aluminum 5 slots were offered as well.

The wagon wheel was never offered from the factory for the 75 model
