I think that is a siphon hose. I use one for transferring fuel from the blitz cans to the gas tank. I like the ones with directional flow valve on the end.

I've got the oem 20 in the new 7 sitting on 235/75/15 tires for now . Drove it around last summer and it was nice. Around here it's 30 mi round trip to the store 28 to work so 20 gals is nice. 6 cyl and 20 gal nice.
