Remember that rubber mallet you had? 
Single stick shifter still? Having someone pulling/pushing on the shifter while you show it some love with the hammer should get things moving. Penetrating oil helped some, but wasnt the answer in my case. Mine was always a pain, but switching to a twin stick took the pain away.

Im fixing to get busy with the mallet ive been pb blasting it ive had this thing in and out 4 times im done playing lol
