4.0 efi on to my 4.2 block CAM?

I am rebuilding my old 4.2carb motor with a 4.0 head and efi: so here is where I need help
1. I elected to use a Comp Cam 68-235-4 [97] for efi in the AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l .
Comp Cams advises new springs " are the springs recommended just for the AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l or are they interchangable with the 4.0 heads"
has anyone better suggestions on cam or springs!
