66 cj5 front brake drum removal

That would be for the rear that puller is needed.....

If the front drum is swaged to the wheel hub, then you will have to remove the hub and drum as an assembly, which entails a job like packing the front wheel bearings.
If you have locking hubs, they are removed first.
Then you'll need the spindle nut socket to remove the outer and inner nuts.
A couple of other details but this gives the picture of what needs to be done.
 
Besides what is mentioned about, to remove the drum off the hub you will need to press the studs out.
