Can I run a set of 35X12.50X15's as long as I am running the street. I know the book 5.5" of lift, but I dont plan on doing any offroad action till I get back in May. Then I can do whatever lift is necessary to make it work. My CJ is stock except for the 3" lift I am putting on this weekend and the motor

Well I run 6"+ of lift, And I had to cut out every wheel well to keep from rubbing. Not sure if 3" will cut it even on the street.
What kind of CJ do you have? A filled out profile really helps us help you.

I am okay with a little fender trimming. I found a set of 35's with rims for 600 here locally and wanted to go ahead and get them now is why I am asking. Next mod will be a 4" suspension lift then I should be okay. Looks like I will only have to trim the back fender to make it work, if so thats okay.

Nice Jeep Dave

Update

Decided on 33X12.50 instead. Picking them up tomorrow, installing the lift kit in the morning. Put the new axles in today and installed my new breather and valve covers, fixed the mechanical oil gauge. Should be on the street finally saturday. Then decide what to do with the body.
