I have the opportunity to buy an 82 Jamboree .. I want to know if you think it's worth the 1000 he wants. It has a good frame, body is pretty good. Runs excellent. The only thing is that it was hit right under the door by a drunk driver and smashed the whole section right next to the seat. Do you think this is a steal?
 
Any pics? Miles? drive train? hard to say without some info.

Being a Jamboree doesn't make it worth anything, treat it like anyother 82.
We would really need pics and more info to GUESS at a price. Check out other jeeps for sale in your area for prices.

the question is, can you afford to replace the body? If its that smashed, it will be expensive to repair it all the right way, making a body transplant a feasible option (worst case of course). If you can honestly budget for that kind of expense, have the skills and tools to do the work, and everything else is still Ok, then it might be worth it.
