85 4.2 intake question

I’m wanting to swap my 76 AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l single barrel for a 85 2 barrel intake, are there any differences I should know about or is this a straight forward swap.

I plan on running the coolant lines and that’s it, would it be ok to block everything sensor wise? I’m running mechanical gauges and no emissions.
