86 CJ7 Doors

I bought my CJ7 from the third owner. When I picked up the vehicle it didn't have any doors. I want to get full doors in steel, I assume OEM was steel. My problem is that is seems difficult to find anyone who manufacture new or aftermarket doors. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Yes, OEM hard doors were steel.
Now a days, it's a bone yard hunt. They ain't cheap either.

I would also check Craigslist. I see lots of hard doors for sale around here on CL, but I'm on the east coast.

Just a side note: you will need the paddle handles for your CJ not the earlier T handles. I believe paddles came out in 81.

Also watch for the dead bolt latch or the rotary latch. I don't remember what year they changed them over.
