amc 360 motors

What were 360's found in? Just in case I come across something in a wreaking yard

The 360 was the last AMC V8 to be manufactured. It was used exclusively in Jeep J-series Trucks 1970-1987, Jeep Wagoneer models from 1972–84, Cherokee from 1974 to 1983, and Grand Wagoneer from 1984 to 1991

The easiest to find is the full size Jeep. If they don't have a AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l , they have a 360. They're pretty easy to find.

If you cruise the for sale forum over at International Full Size Jeep Association you may find an engine pop up near you.

Wagoneers and J trucks.. I would snatch a whole waggy/truck. theres alot of decent little parts that you can re-use. or atleast make sure you grab the A/C compressor.. if its a york its great fo OBA
