And yet another wire harness question

I have a DUI distributor and there is a bunch of wiring that is not needed any more. Also one last wire I can't trace down is a pink wire that goes back into the firewall. Other than that I can get rid of this "box" in the harness.

I like to take unused wires back to the source, that way they do not short out a a bad time

This is all the old distributor wiring that won't be used anymore. I did trace the pink wire down and it is a dead end too. I want to take it all out. What would yall do?
