Welcome to the Forum. A wealth of knowledge and experience here, for sure. Great people too.

Hopefully it's got good bones - meaning the frame isn't rotten like the body. Looks like it has on-board-air too, with that manifold with the 2 air chucks & gauge. That's cool.
Alot of people would love it, spend many hours for it and the resources to have that small block chevy. I wouldn't:p. But, just something to ponder before you go back to the AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l .
You may be able to offload the whole motor setup to one of those guys.
The Transmission is a good 5-speed, but will take some adaptation to a 258. You'll find info here on that.
