I’ve always wanted a Jeep and this Christmas my husband surprised me with an ‘84 CJ7 ! Can’t even describe my joy… I’m no mechanic, but I’m thankful to have a guy who is… and I’m already learning so much. Can’t wait to get it on the road!! Love that there’s a community like this to learn from- and with! Thanks!

Thanks. My husband almost immediately started taking it apart, but I did get a short ride on Christmas Day… with the doors off (a nice 70* December day here in NC!)… and got my first Jeep wave! I was over the moon.

It’s already on jacks in the garage, so this is all I have showing the new rear bumper! Old school white wagon wheels and new tires are ordered and my husband’s already done a complete fluids change with a new carburetor on the way… more pics to come!

You got yourself a really nice CJ7 . Makes me wish for the days when I didn't have rust holes on the corner and rocker panels.
