86' CJ-7 Laredo stock, 2005 TJ 3" BDS
I've got a "new" 86' CJ7 Laredo that I'm looking to upgrade. It's a nice rust free jeep with Dana 44 / 30 and AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l I6. The gear ratio in the axle housings could definitely be changed out for lower gears. I've got a chunk of cash saved up ($10K) and I'm trying to figure out how to spend that money wisely for upgrades. I'm looking for suggestions on what are some of the most important upgrades to make this a "reliable" daily driver/weekend warrior. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
