best tires ever???

best tires ever???
i dont need an AT because we have sand mud and asphalt, no rocks, no snow
so i wanted to focus where im driving, sorry for not makin that more clear

You hit the nail on the head:chug:
And the KM2's are MORE expensive then the Super Swampers
But what's the differenct beteween the radial and the bias?
LTB | Interco Tire i like those sidewalls but do you need studded sidewalls?
and the bias TSL Bias | Interco Tire look more knarly then the radial TSL Radial | Interco Tire?
TSL SX | Interco Tire mis that just the radil with the side knobs?
thanks I apprecaite yalls help if you were down here i buy yall a round

Radials are heavier due to the steel belts/ more puncture resistance at the tread, they handle better on the street, they tend to wear more evenly/ with proper care. That being said, the bias ply tires are hands down better offroad due more sidewall strenght, lighter weight, sidewall puncture resistance/ the steel belts aren't on the sidewalls.

Also, the sidewall tread comes in handy when you air down for offroad travel & helps with sidewall puncture resistance.

TSL SX | Interco Tire This particular tire is bias belted with steelbelts it's very heavy for each size, but is extra tough offroad. They still don't wear any better on the street that regular bias belted.

so go with the TSL SX?

IMO the "Interco Super Swamper Bogger" is hands down the best DOT legal mud tire made. The "TSL SX", TSL bias ply, are really good, but none of them
will get you 40k on the street. You have to pull the trigger on that decision.
Do I want tread life, or do I want ultimate mud prowess? Only you can decide!;)

you said you got 45k with tsl's didnt you?

My rig is my daily driver, that's why I run the "SSR's", but the "TSL radials" also work well. I've never tried the "LTB's", but I have hear many good things about them.

On my old rig I ran 38.5 X 15.50 X 16.5 10ply TSL radials on 16.5 X 9.75.

On my current rig I'm running 38 X 15 X 16.5 10ply SSR radials on 16.5 X12.
Here's the post.

how much of a difference is there between the radial and bias? millage and mudding?

As with everything in life, there is a compromise. If I was going to put tires on a trailer queen, I'd go bias-ply every time. If it's going to to spend 50% or more time on the street, I'd go radial.

well how are they different off road?
weight isnt to much of a concern and i cant trailer queen it i dont have a trailer other wise id have straight tractor tires which we all know they do awsome on the street

Like I said before, bias-ply have a stronger carcass with more sidewall ply's. Most bias-ply "Super Swampers" have a little more agressive tread pattern.
The "TSL SX" steel belted, has strong sidewalls & tread puncture resistant steel belts. the problem with too much weigh comes into play when you start spinning them. The heavy tires are a lot harder on driveline parts.

WR just so I know, what is your rigs profile? year,CID,tranny,TC, Etc.??
Oh yea , and if we were there you would be buying, there is no doubt about that.

CID? its a 95 wrangler d35s, a drivetrain swap from a cher. a 93 I6 and AW4 auto Transmission ., stock TC (and i have a spare:D) custom cut shafts, 8.5 inches of lift (SOA and 3inch body) and soon a detroit LS
that answer everything?

yep. That is good for me, you may want to put that over in your profile for us geezers with a memory as long as other parts of our anatomy.:xj:

Correction, that's a Dana 30 front Dana 35 rear. Be ready to kiss those babies Bye Bye if you start spinning a set of 36"X12.50 "Super Swamper TSX's". I would definitely upgrade my driveline before doing any hardcore mudding, or prepare to have someone with a winch & trailer to get you home.
You might not arrive a trailer queen, but that's the way you will leave.

Radials will be better on the road, the bias will be rough each morning till warmed up and grip a bit better on rocks, like you will se those in Florida.

make the d 30 a full floater and get a Dana 44 in the rear and all will be fine

I was thinking the Transmission would be the first to crater.
any body want to start a pool??
