Bestop Replacement Rear Window??

Hey Guys,

So some SOB took a box cutter and cut a foot long gash across my rear window. I guess he was trying to grab something out of the back, but nothing was taken.

Beyond taping up the cut with ducktape, what other options do I have? Does Bestop even offer replacement parts for their tops? Like a entire rear window?

Any suggestions is appreciated!

Fantastic! It is the one that completely unzips, so you can separate the rear window from the top. Thats a relief!

I couldn't find replacement windows on the Bestop web site. I emailed them today, so hopefully i'll hear back on Monday. I hope the price for the rear window isn't as much as a whole new Top.

I looked up ebay, and any forums/craigslist posts where somebody could be selling a rear window. The only ones I could find where beat to hell. I've got a fairly new top, so i'd prefer to have a window that matches up.

Tough break there Jzak, If Bestop doesn't reply to your e-mail, at least give them a call direct. If that fails you would have to resort to getting one custom made.

What I can't understand is that I don't have locks on my doors, so there was no need to cut the window, and in the end, he didn't take anything. I guess he thought, Well here's this nice little Jeep that I can't have, so i'm going to screw it up out of spite!

It really does make you question your faith in humanity, when you run into these Psychopaths! I guess it could have been worse. He could have slashed my tires, and set it on fire.

I really makes me nervous to leave a vehicle at a back country trailhead for a few days out in the middle of nowhere. So far I have been quite fortunate.

So I gotta give it up to Bestop. I called them today, and their replacement window was only $80. Not a bad price for something so large. They also had it in stock, and should be delivered this week.

They could of easily had just said sorry, but you'll have to buy a whole new top. Thats what most companies would do, so cheers to Bestop.

New rear window just came in today. It fits perfectly! It's actually too nice. It's making the rest of the top look like !
