Brake booster help.

Ok so I'm finishing up my weber carb install and I recall reading a suggestion of making sure to hook the brake booster vac line up. I did some looking around and there is a fitting that goes right into the intake manifold right below the carb and above the EGR (which is plugged off now) I believe. I think this is for the brake booster line goes. Now to make things worst, I don't think I have a booster which is typically behind the master fluid right? anybody have some good pictures of this or can correct me if I am wrong? thanks for the help!

The vacuum line for the BB on the I6 hooks to the intake not the carb. I think its a 3/8s vacuum line if i remember correctly so you should have a vacuum nipple on the intake manifold on the end closer to the BB. That is assuming you had power brakes.

It sounds like you do not have power brakes because if you had a BB you would know it. It is a big circular contraption that bolts between your MC and firewall

Heres my 81 , no power brakes therefore no booster.

OK, thanks guys. Just wanted to make sure I was on the right track. I definitely don't have one of the contraptions behind my MC. Appreciate it fellas!
