Misc. Wires through firewall

What's the best way to take the speedometer wire and emergency brake wire out of the firewall and floorboard with the rubber gaskets?

258 w/Howell TBI, HEI Ign., Dana 44 Front w/Detroit, Dana 44 Rear w/Discs & Detroit,
NP435 Trans, Dana 300 T-case w/twin stick
1969 Bronco:
351W, D44 high pinon front from full size, 9” full size rear, NP435 trans and Dana 20
Squirt bottle with warm dish-soapy water sprayed on the grommet. Have done this to install them, so should also help with removal.

Go to Horrible Fright, they have "Multi Pac" of grommets of various sizes in a nice plastic container. Also you can pick up other things in these "Multi Pac"
Units. A little inventory save Time and GAS when you need one of those Thingy Kabobs.
