I need the Brake fluid reservoir cover and rubber gasket for my 1980 CJ5 brake booster. Went to multiple parts stores, Jeep dealership. . . I would rather get new, not from junk yard. Anyone know where to get them? Not just the cover, I need the gasket more importantly.

Jeep Dealership said they were discontinued and couldn't get them.

If you find a source, please let me know. I was able to improve my seal a bit with a little careful filing of the rough edges on the reservoir -- and by bending the clasp slightly so it closes tighter. I've heard that pulling the gasket out and putting it back in may also help, but I am concerned about making it worse if it breaks. I'd rather not replace the whole unit until I need to do the brakes.

Maybe one of the other guys knows for sure, but I am pretty sure the master cylinder in a standard G.M. unit.
