All my rides? Well I have quite a few work trucks so I will leave them off. But I own a 79 cj5.
Anybody got any pics, drawings, or prints of brake line layout for a CJ5 ? I am completely overhauling mine and it is time to reinstall with new brake lines. All my books and information i have gathered have no clear layout for me.

WOW thanks. Do you know where you can find that manual? I tried to hook up to that link but no luck. Unless you can send it again or help me out. I greatly appreciate it, the diagram is helpful.

I just looked in my 74-80 parts manual, it provides a different image, if youd like me to post I can do it later, I dont have my camera at this house, its at the farm. It actually shows what the lines look like and where they go, its less of a technical drawing more of a "this is what it looks like" drawing.

that would be great. What is the title of your book? Maybe i can find it somewhere.

Its not so much a book, its the 1974-1980 AMC/JEEP dealers parts counter look-up catalog. You know, before computers, youd go to a dealer to buy parts, they would pull out a big binder and flip it open, its one of them.

What year is your 5 ? pre or post 1980

Sorry, meant to get this posted last night, but on my last trip back from the farm, I flaked out my camera (had my mind on dinner !).

If you cant open this large enough to use it, pm me your email addy and I will forward you the file, I took it in high res,... so it should be readily veiwable.

Honestly, I dont know, I got it from a closed AMC Jeep Dealer Franchise Liquidation Auction. They have turned up on ebay in the past. The actual book used to bring several hundred dollars when you could find one, but Ive not looked or seen one in years.

You can buy a PDF on disc of the book on ebay, although you wont know the quality of it until you get it. I have about 50 different of these PDFs for Ford, Dodge and Jeep, and the amount of detail and level of quality is significantly different from one PDF to the next. All depends on the equipment they scanned it with, the condition of the parts manual they scanned (almost all are used and worn, then copied), and how fast and furiously they rushed through it, the faster the lower the quality. So if you buy it and it sucks, consider yourself warned. Its just a matter of luck... not much more !

COMPLETE FACTORY JEEP PART CATALOG 1974-1980 - eBay (item 220749270190 end time Mar-11-11 05:24:04 PST)

As far as the name of the book, I already told you:

1974-1980 AMC/JEEP dealers parts counter look-up catalog.

The cover of the book says "Parts Catalog" nothing more, nothing less !

Good luck !
