Brake pedal to high

I got 1984 CJ7 the brake pedal is several inches higher than the clutch pedal. I looked for adjustments but can't find any. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

I also have a '84 and my break pedal is lower than the clutch but I don't know how to adjust it. I'm sure someone will chime in that knows.

I had the same thing with pedal to high and it popped the linkage out of the booster. I welded a nut on for a stop against the brake pedal arm and the frame under the dash. It made the pedals even and haven't had linkage come apart since. I could not find any adjustments either.

Here is a link to what I just bought for my wife's 78 CJ7 . When you go to link scroll down to brakes . I am buying the corvette master booster 250 . Comes ready to bolt on and has pedal adjustment which I'm sure no cj7 has , also bought the gm style caliper brackets . Buying calipers at local store they are from a 74 -77 chevy 1/2 ton 4x4.The Jeep Guy Home Page .

I had the same problem when I bought my CJ. Then one day I had to replace the master cylinder. That fixed it.
The problem was the PO used the wrong master cylinder.
