Would like to get a recommendation for a durable, dependable brake proportioner to replace OEM part on 77 CJ7 258CID front disk/ rear drum 31x10.50 tires. Prefer to avoid extensive modification. Thanks.
 
There are remanufactured units available for your CJ. Also a brake shop can rebuild your existing one. Otherwise the plumbing has to be adapted to use one from a different application.
