Misc. build date for CJ7

Hi all , is there a way fo finding out which month my CJ7 was made?

In the uk we can get classic car status which mean no annual road tax payment after 40 years old. It would be real nice nice to find out when mine was made rather wait a whole year...

my vin decoder just told me that its a AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l , manual 4 speed , car made in 85 at Toledo...

My '86 has a vehicle info and emissions sticker on the tub just under the driver's door. It had a stamp of "Jan 1986" in blue ink behind the "date:". It's faded a bit now to where you can't hardly see it. The sticker may not be on yours if its an export model. My vin is pretty high so it seems to correlate.

There is no guarantee that the engine is stock but you can determine the year, month & day of the engine build date using the attached PDF.
