Catalytic Converter

Hey All-
I recently converted my AMC 304 exhaust back to the stock manifolds from headers and need to source a catalytic converter. I want to add one back in for environmental purposes more than emissions control since SC doesn't have any. I have the walker Y pipe 40376 and cannot find a converter that will bolt up to the four bolt flange. All the cats I find for a 1979 just have a pipe connector. Is there a V8 rated cat that will bolt up to this y pipe flange or a connector that will convert the flange to a pipe connection on a standard cat? I can find cats that are for the YJ that have a four bolt flange but can't find any info on whether they bolt up to the walker y pipe. I'm not opposed creating my own connector but it would be way easier if there was a stock bolt up style available. Any thoughts or similar setups you guys have out there?

Have you tried performance catalytic converter suppliers like Magnaflow?

I’ve tried all the major performance brands. I looked at the 10142 from rock auto but it still has the slip over fit. I did find later last night that the eastern catalytic has the 10131 that will bolt up to my y pipe no problem and rated for the 5 liter. Just the 1978 model. So I think I’m going with that one.

Flowmaster sells some universal cats, they even have universals for the People's Republic of California on there if I remember right. I am going with flowmaster on my exhaust rebuild but I have the I6 AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l in my '81.
