Cherokee 5.2

Hey guys! Gettin my hands on a donor Cherokee with a 5.2. Its auto, and I'd really rather have a manual. Can anyone make my day and tell me there's a combination of bell housing and manual Transmission that'll let me keep my Dana 300 and passenger side drop?

you need to know that it is a Dodge 318 (5.2)motor not an AMC. It is the multi port fuel injected magnum motor(best 318 ever made), the factory EFI control system is not supported by the aftermarket. You will need to either get a carb, intake, and distributor for it or use an aftermarket EFI control. Your choices for direct bolt up manual trannys is Limited to the NV4500 and NP435 both are great trannys and both will allow you to keep the Dana 300

That site is AWESOME! I think im just gonna keep the auto tranny. The more i think about it, the more i just wanna get this pig on the road. I MISS MY JEEP!!
