Cj axle swap

Hey guys
New here not to wrenchin.
I am a proud owner of an 84 CJ7 . 35s and a lift thats it,all stock well whats left anyway.
I have broken twisted stripped and bent most of the suspension and am running out of spare parts. I have a 3/4 ford hiboy setup goin in this fall so here is my question.
The perches on the axels are wider than my stock springs.
Some guys say weld in outboards.
Some say weld on new perches. Thats my idea and keep my stock springs.
A lil advice or reasons pro/con

if I ever go full width I would go with out board spring mounts, I thing it would give a little more stability.

Either way is acceptable, and while not knowing what the width of the wheel mount surface side to side is on your new Ford axle nor the tire size and wheel offset you plan to run, the final placement may get determined later by what inside turning radius clearance you have between the frame , springs and tires at full left or right when the suspension is fully articulated........You may like the springs out but may need to move them in if the tires hit while turning.
