how about the CJ10A with a real CJ grill?

Sorry guys but this type of extended Cj has always appealed to me.

Am I the only one that read that and said EEEEEEWWWW?

It would look more proportionatly correct if the extra 37 in. wasnt all added in the middle.

Jeffs pick up looks good.

Gaucho (Jeff Scherb).webp

Let me get this straight. This is a CJ8 that someone has decieded to build a 1 1/2 cab out of? And then once the cab is enclosed there will be a pick-up bed on the back, similiar to the guacho truck only cab and a half?

It started as a 82 CJ7 . Other than that you are correct. He wont be making a bed for it though , whoever buys it will have to complete it.

It started life as a CJ7 confused0043.webp . How much has he lengthened the frame? Did he have a custom rear driveshaft made? How does he plan to finish off the back of that hacked up fiberglass CJ7 top? I have a lot of questions about this because it theory it sounds like it could be cool like the gaucho truck. Could be cool, but it could also end up being a monumental failure too.

37 in. in the middle of the frame. There was a drivetrain in it but it was sold. I can see a rear driveshaft in the pic. The front probably didnt change. He wont be doing anymore to it. He described it that he "lost interest" and wants to sell. The more Ive looked at it I just dont think its going to look right. Some of that 37 in. shouldve been added on the rear of that frame. Its going to look stretched I beleive. The one Jeff did wasnt an extended cab and that was one of the reasons he didnt make the cab longer. If I had the $7500 Jeffs interested in getting for the Gaucho Id be all over it.

X2 on that. Jeff Scherb does some awesome work, but I'd not seen a ExCab.

Guess that explains why I dont see them right now. :o Bear with me. :)
