CJ Limited question

I noticed on some of the pictures on this site that a cj Limited has hard doors with the mirror attached to the door. Did these cj's come with these doors ? I just purchased doors with these mirrors and they also have the pin stripe on the door. Are they from a Limited ?

The Limiteds did come with the little flag mirrors on the doors. I think some of the early YJ's did too, so your doors could be Limited doors from a CJ or early YJ doors.

The guy I bought them from is dropping them off on Friday. I will post pics as soon as I get them. I will need to change my latch post also. The guy I bought them from retired from Jeep after 30 yrs. He has so many parts which are rust free. He is my new best friend. I also picked up the plastic original storage tote that I asked about in a previous post. He had maybe 7 sets of hard doors in his garage , plus a rust free frame and several rust free tubs. Its like I died and went to heaven

Its been about 3 weeks since I went and looked at them. Not 100% sure on the color. I guess thats what happens when you get old

The easiest way to tell will be by that upper pad on the iside that goes to the window. Heres a pic of what the top pad looks like if you peek over to the passenger side door. Im interested in anything that matches this interior color as well. Id love to find a Slate Blue center console as well. Did he have any seats??

Yes he had seats. He said he was going to put on black upper pads to match my cj

I spent 3 hours just looking at everything he had. Some of it I couldnt even get to. I told him he is sitting on a gold mine. It scares me that he is 85 and he said his wife has no idea what is out here.

I think I have stumbled onto a 1983 Limited . It belonged to my brother-in-law and it became too much of a project for him. So, I ended up with his mess. It was originally a grayish color and it did have the Limited stripes under the camo colored paint. However, the trim tag code shows the color to be 9E. I have not been able to find that color in the 1983 color chart. That color was offered in 1979 as Wedgewood Blue. The VIN clearly shows it to be an 83 model. Does anyone know what color I have? Also, I know this thread is really old but did you end up with any more of those Limited parts or are they still available? I have included two photos of my trim tag. One is reversed because it is easier to see.
