CJ rear seat

The U shaped brackets go on the wheelwells. When the seat is in the upright position there is a round rod on each side of the seat that "clips" in them. I can get a pic if you need it.

I have a yj rear seat to put in my CJ. No brackets. I put a CJ rear bracket on the seat. I can acquire some front yj brackets from my local Craigslist. Here is a Ebay link...Jeep CJ/Wrangler YJ Rear Folding Seat Bracket Set 76-95 | eBay
I see how the brackets with the pins go into the seat. Where do the two u- shape brackets go? Thanks...

Oh..ok...I got it...thanks Petescj!

I mounted a YJ seat in my CJ7 as well. It was an easy install. The side brackets bolt right through the wheel well.

I bolted the front brackets down first. Then I set the seat in place and marked for the side brackets. Drilled the holes and bolted them on with grade 8 bolts (bolt head inside the wheel well, nut/washer/lock washer on the inside of the vehicle). I used some very large washers on the wheel well side to keep the bolts from pulling through. The lap belts (I bought brand new belts) bolted into the floor using the factory holes that the CJ7 seat brackets were bolted to.
