Nice looking adaptor. I made my first one the old fashion way with a drill and file. Sorry I deleted the pictures from my thread, I needed the space at the time.
I have many of them here https://www.pinterest.com/terryqyh/gm-tbi-conversion/

if you would like I can take more pictures of how I did this conversion.

man thats an awesome pintrest account, i will be referencing those pics for my own conversion later

Got as much done as I can but couldn't get all the parts I needed in time unfortunately. Will have to tow the Jeep home in a couple days instead of driving. Aww well.

Finished the distributor up. Welded the lower plates after removing the springs and weights

I put the vacuum advance arm on to locate the top place then drilled and tapped under the empty right side hole. A bolt, loctite and a few washers to space everything out level and it's a nice clean install so now the vacuum and mechanical advance have been removed. Just be sure the bolt is trimmed up flush so everything can spin freely below.

Cleaned up the throttle body and added a new gasket set. Fortunately I found this broken spring in the fuel pressure regulator. Ordered a 14-15 psi spring (I'm using the 4.3L injectors so 15 psi should bring me to a closer fuel rate) Should be another week before I see the spring. Injectors got cleaned in the ultrasonic parts cleaner.

I made a O2 sensor bung. Turned and tapped some mild steel on the lathe for 18mm- 1.5 threading for the O2 sensor. I'm looking forward to using the TIG welder more next semester. Haven't had much time with it this year.

Hey where did you put the temp sensor? And it looks like I have an oil pressure switch in front of my oil filter, did you have one and use it with your fuel pump relay? Oh and which wires did you tap into for 12v key on and crank?

The way I understand it, the GM TBI system used an oil pressure switch parallel to the fuel pump relay circuit to provide an alternate power path to the fuel pump in case of fuel pump relay failure. As long as you have oil pressure either through cranking or a running engine, the oil pressure switch will provide power to the fuel pump even if the fuel pump relay fails. The '7747 wiring diagrams that I have also support this.

I have read where others have said that the oil pressure switch in the GM TBI system was to kill the fuel pump after a loss of oil pressure, but I do not believe that to be correct.

I am going to run the oil pressure switch on my SBC/TBI setup, but it should work fine without it.

If you already knew all of this, sorry for the redundant info.

FWIW,
Dave

Also, nice work on the adapter.

That's news to me, I thought they used them to kill the pump as well for a safety feature

I replaced the Ported Vacuum Switch next to the oil filler tube with the temp sensor for the ECM.
Right or wrong, I have the fuel pump connected to pin B2 on the ECM. It will turn on the pump for a few seconds when you turn on the key and during cranking. If the engine stops running the pump shuts off. The oil pressure switch closes at about 10 pounds. If you go through it you will have to crank the engine for a bit to build up pressure to turn on your fuel pump. I have a electric cooling fan that is controlled with the oil pressure switch. It turns on about three or four seconds after the engine starts.
As for the 12V. I went to the old ignition control module plugs. The blue wire on the two wire plug is hot while cranking and the red is hot when the ignition is on.
