CJ5 value question

Hey guys! Me and my dad were thinking about buying this CJ5 . I do not know that much about older Jeeps so I am hoping you guys can help me out. I don't know the exact year of the Jeep but I know that it is 70's. I talked to the guy very briefly and he said that it was a 3-speed, AMC 304 v8. he also told me that pretty much everything such as brackets and headers and everything like that is new and that the interior is pretty clean. He is asking $7900 and i was wondering if that was a fair deal? I have tried to do some research and it seems that the price is a little too high but I am not entirely sure. here are some pictures. With the metal body being rust free it looks worth it to me. I think it is a very nice looking Jeep.

There are a lot of things we don't know about it. I am thinking pre 76, looks like a Dana 44 on the rear and the filler neck where it is.

It does look good in the pictures, I could see 8K being fair price.

Just be sure to check it over real good, look at the underside and the frame for rust. That paint could be hiding a lot.
Also be sure to take it for a ride down the road to see how it drives.
If it's as nice as the pic's make it look the price might be a little high but nice cj's are bringing good money these days.
