Does anyone know the proper spindle bearing kit for a 76 CJ7 with a Dana 30 and drum brakes?

So far I have picked up Napa BK1 and I have picked up Dana Spicer 706527x.

The Dana Spicer part was check via Rock Auto and via Danaaftermarket. The issue I am having is the spindle bearings appear to fit but the thrust washer, slinger and k seal are a tad too big.

Upon disassembly I notices the k seals were missing and the long axle shaft is all corroded.

looking up the N.A.P.A. website, there seems to be other p/ns for that application, like bk1, bk2, bk3, bk4, and bk6. There was a difference in the spindles when disk brakes were added as the disk brake version was stronger and I have heard of the drum brake version breaking. I would suggest taking the spindle back to N.A.P.A. if you could.

I dont have a spindle from Napa, the spindles are my originals, I am trying to track down the correct spindle bearing kit that has the outer axle slinger and K seal that fits correctly; so far they have been a bit too big.

Let me clarify what I am trying to say. When I looked at the N.A.P.A. website, there was 5 spindle kits listed for your CJ, at least that's what I saw. You could have got a kit for the disk brake spindle which AMC converted to at the end of '76, or at least from what I have read. You might just want to take your spindle in to find a kit that will fit.

Yeah I see what you are saying now, not sure why I did not pick up on it before. :)

So I think you are correct in that the kits I am getting are for disk which would make sense since the spindles are larger and I assume the axle stub is too.

After finding the Dana 44 67_78 it appears I actually need a seal that looks like a wheel bearing one versus the K seal. The nice part is the kit I got from Denny's Driveshaft has the bearing and the v seal I need. Just need to source the oil seal.
