cj7 door striker ??

I need to ad the strikers for a pair of yj half doors to my early CJ7 tub. I picked up the striker brakets from the yj but they wont fit on the tub of my cj. Was there some diff. in the jamb area of the earlier cj tub or do I have something missing from mine? if thewre is a diff in the tub, does someone make a kit to add the strikers? Anyone have good pics of the conversion? Thanks for any help

Show a pic of the door jamb area. I can show you a pic from my scrambler tub to compare the differences if any.

Yep, early tubs (Pre'80) were different. Pretty sure the 80 year was an oddball, and the 81-up use the YJ style striker pins.

Collins Bros has these to use on older style bodies. Not sure how well they work, and they're $$ too, but they're an option. (scroll down)
