Hi,
Just figured I would share how I adapted a set of side steps ( Bully AS-600 ).
I have a fiberglass tub and I have tw0 sections of angle iron between two of the body mounts. I fastened the standard ( Bully AS-600 ) to the angle iron. I am going to install two more threaded rods to add even more support. The two bolts work well by themselves but I do get some flex. See the attached pictures. The threaded rods would go all the way to the frame, and not just to the angle iron.
If you do not have the angle iron sections, you could slot the side angle and you would not have to pull the body off the mounts ( just raise it a little and slide the angle inplace ).
