I don't think my tail lights match the year my jeep is supposed to be, mine are round, but the other ones I've seen from the 80's have square ones.
Is it possible for an 85' to have round tail lights?

There is a pic of the back in my gallery.

Those lights aren't LED. I wish they were then backing up at night on a narrow trail would not suck so bad. One of the things on my list is to put some nice and bright lights back there. And besides the front fenders the po has not done anything all that nice for me. I wish I would have known then what I know now. I love it just wish I had more money for it.

Those look just like the tail lights my PO installed although mine aren't LED.
And Yes elwood blues is correct about what the stock tail lights should be.

Hey, don't you have any backup lights?

If you do go with LED tail lights plan on switching out your flasher relay at the fuse panel otherwise they won't blink properly. Summit has a pretty good one cheap.

I like those tail lights. But it's not running right now and I am out of action for a while. I had to have back surgery two months ago so even if it was running I could not take driving it, it is too rough.

I like the cheap trailer tail lights like busa has, if you break em you aren't out big $$$ that you paid for leds. I picked mine up at a pilot truckstop. $8 each.
