My buddys 8 that were putting one ton running gear and a 454 in
 
The tub is done thanks to POR 15 it looks 100% better
 
Welded plat on to the body mounts on the frame tonight and drilled the holes, started weldig in the new engine mounts and realized i need the tub on to guage where to mount the 350. hopefully will get some guys over sunday to put the tub on :chug:
 
Tub is back on will post some pictures when jackie get show with the camera

got the eng mounts welded in and the eng mounted tonight

generator control panel
has normal power, stanby for automatic starting and paralleing, and bypass for just running the generator 99kw Kato generator with a Cat 3304
I also have a control pannel inside the house so i can start the generator and bring it up and make power without walking outside. Engine side has an rpm guage, oil temp and water temp and the electrical side show volts, amps, and kw
 
Project is starting to look good. Makes me want to work on mine!
 
well its been a while so i figured it was time to do a few updates
put in solid rear corners, 14 guage steel hand bent and welded in
24 led tail lights and relocated the fuel fill to inside the tub
 
Curious, why move the fuel fill inside the tub? Aside from smoothing out the body to be straight.
 
And what was in that brown bottle inside the tub? :D

nothing it was empty:chug:

As for moving the fuel fill I want to put a set of led back up lights in the rear and it just wouldnt look right with just one and If anyone trys to steal it i want them to be clueless on how to fuel it
and I have to be diffrent from everyone else:D

so a little birdy stopped by and shart on the jeep numorus times. she got a quick bath and a little sanding and some more primer
bought a set of headers, radiator, and a used set of fenders today

so back to working on the 8 and getting it ready for paint
