Working on it this week got the grill fenders and radiator mounted up now I need to find a fan an some braided brake line "about 26 ft" for running the dual brakes. And start bending. Rickey let me borrow/ buy that bender off you:D

You are welcome to borrow the bender, but I only have 1.75" die with it. You are welcome to use one of the notchers as well. You should know that it is a manual bender as I have not even broken it out of the box it came in yet so I haven't bothered to run over to Tallahassee to get the conversion kit.

. I need to finish this bumper build for a friend that I'm swapping for a 92' 4.0 with harness so I can get back on the YJ. I already delivered the rocker guards with step tube.

Looks like you are trying to make a cage out of straight cut tube..I told you you could use my bender if you will purchase the air over hydraulic unit to put on it..lol

Seriously though,you are welcome to use it.

I'm not sure about the back part of that cage's look, but it may look better once its done.

Ran across this cage and thought it looked decent and figured it might give you something else to look at.

I know its not an 8, but has some nice tube action. No homo...Also I'm talking about the top bars in the cage.
 
Also, after looking at this one I had a similar plan for my commando, thought it might not look bad after all on the 8 with more straight pipe like you mentioned.
