73 CJ5 4.0 head on a 258, HEI, Holley Projection w/ 4.56, Detroit lockers Narrowed D44 front and full float D44 rear T14 w/ D20 4 wheel discs, 38.5 Boggers
While out abusing the CJ yesterday, a new noise from the clutch.

Only there when the clutch is out. Lightly touch the pedal and it goes away.

Anyone had this before? Crank end play? :confused:

It's a Centerforce clutch.

Throw out bearing?
 
Nope. Everyone I've had good bad makes noise when the pedal is pressed down. Not when fully released.

Other ideas?
