And Opossums, it’s Ok to taze opossums, they are ugly and disgusting and armadillos if they attack.:laugh::laugh:

The concourse fan that you are using, is this from a V8 or a V6??
I have seen a lot of Taurus, late model, with two fans in the V6 model.

Just to mention it I have a fan from the Taurus with the single, large fan and I do not have room for it between the radiator and water pump. It will have to be mounted off center. It looks like a pretty good 2 speed fan but right now it is leaning up against the welding machine , out of the way. :cool:

J&W are a great resource for Jeep parts, they have acres and acres of jeeps, you would be shocked If you ever actually went there as how much of everything they have.

I was just suggesting that J&W carries OEM fans,flex fans, electric fans,
OEM shrouds..Everything Jeep.

I have been there.It is a Great place to find ANY Jeep part.
 
Red, I got there one morning and got lost in the place, not litereally but it cost me 1600 clams to get out I found so much stuff I needed that I didnt need.

is teh Concourse a pusher or a puller?
 
Dual fan
Located in the v-6, hi output, etc.
Also check the Mercury Mystique, in addition to the Contour.

These are great fans for a I6 as it gives you a little extra space.

Thats not a bad price for a brand spanking new fan. If I didn't enjoy the trips th the grave yard so much I mite go that way.
The drawing of the Taurus fan does not give a depth, if any one is interested it is 4 3/4 inch. so the duel fan is more than an inch shallower.:cool:
 
yeah the dual fans are what you want from what ive read as the factory contour fans and shroud are just about the exact same size as the jeep radiator. i've also done a little research and it seems some 4cyl came with dual fans but i'm not sure exactly what years. the mercury mystique fans are the same as contour fans
 
Out of curiosity I called my local yards this morning (I only have two). One said no go, the other - had one. I was going to order a new one but I don't mind picking up the used one for a good price. And it has the wiring and pigtails with it! :)
